Mrs. Shavone Sampson is a native of Atlanta, GA. She attended Oakwood University where she received a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies. She also received a M.ED in Elementary Education from Alabama A&M University.
Mrs. Sampson has been teaching at DAJA for six years. She taught 2nd grade for four years and currently teaches math, science, and social studies for the 4th and 5th grade classes.
She is married to Kevin Sampson and has two daughters, Holland (10) and Eden (8). She enjoys teaching, traveling, and singing.
